Abstract
VER-SUS Potiguar is a project that aims to train professionals and students for the Unified Health System, promoting reflection on its guidelines. Held in São Gonçalo do Amarante, it addressed "Health Care Networks", involving experiences such as the Tenda do Conto and visits to health units and indigenous communities. The local cultural richness was highlighted, reflected in symbols such as the Galo Branco and manifestations such as the Bambelô da Alegria. The visits revealed challenges, such as the lack of resources, but also positive initiatives, such as interdisciplinary work. The project provided an enriching experience for 29 undergraduate students from various health areas, in addition to a team of 4 facilitators, one nurse, two psychologists and one sanitarian, promoting learning, diversity and commitment to the Unified Health System. The participants were agents of change, strengthening ties with the community and health professionals. This initiative highlights the importance of dialogue and collaboration in building a fairer and more efficient health system.
