Abstract

Introduction: This article describes the practices experienced by the facilitators in the Experiences and Internships in the Reality of the Potiguar Unified Health System Project, carried out in the city of Pau dos Ferros, in Rio Grande do Norte. The project is a strategy that aims to bring undergraduates closer to the challenges of the system, contributing to qualified training and the construction of public policies. Development: The article aims to report on the experiences of the facilitators during the Potiguar edition. The experience report was based on the facilitators' field diaries and the answers to the guiding questions in the project's Facilitators' Notebook. The report of the experiences highlights the importance of the project for the training of students and for the consolidation of the Unified Health System, with a focus on Health Care Networks, especially the Psychosocial Care Network and the Care Network for People with Disabilities. Final considerations: Experiences and Internships in the Reality of Potiguar's Unified Health System Potiguar was a transformative experience that highlighted the importance of health professionals' commitment to building a fairer and more inclusive system.
