Permanent Education in Health and Active Methodologies: : Performance of the Fortaleceras Project in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte

Abstract

Introduction: The education process in health services has undergone different transformations over the years, in which different strategies have been implemented with a view to strengthening the training of professionals. Objective: to report successful experiences in the use of methodological strategies aimed at strengthening professional qualification in the three levels of health care. Methodology: This is an experience report based on the experiences of tutors in a project to strengthen Health Care Networks in the capital of Rio Grande do Norte. Results: The organization of the FortaleceRAS project starts with the improvement of tutors through HCOR training meetings. Next, the Tutors, through contacts with the Unit Managers, seek to schedule the training with the teams. The first contacts were difficult, since the work routine of the services has a high demand for serving the population. During the professionals' formative moments, different methodological strategies were used, which include: case study; group dialogue; resolution of issues and sharing of successful experiences related to the theme of training. Based on these active methodologies, we sought to encourage the strengthening of interprofessional, collaborative work and changes in practices created in the work process. Final considerations: The FortaleceRAS Project is in the development phase, but the legacy of investing in permanent education for the transformation of practices and the provision of care is immediately perceived.
