Rio Grande do Norte is a pioneer in the development of the FortaleceRAS project, which supports Health Care Networks

Abstract

An interview with Enilda Maria de Sousa Lara, the coordinator of the FortaleceRAS project in the regions of Rio Grande do Norte and Paraíba, Gizelda Monteiro da Silva, the manager of HCor's Institute of Education, and Deborah Melo, the regional coordinator of the FortaleceRAS project in Rio Grande do Norte. During the interview, the experts discussed the development of the project in the Potiguar territory. They addressed topics such as collaboration with state and municipal management, training of healthcare professionals, and data collection methodology. The FortaleceRAS project aims to support the implementation of Care Lines for Overweight and Obesity, Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, Systemic Arterial Hypertension, Stroke, and Acute Myocardial Infarction, in a phased manner, in these regions. The project is an initiative of the Program for Support to Institutional Development of SUS (PROADI-SUS), in partnership with HCor, the Ministry of Health, the National Council of Health Secretaries (Conass), the National Council of Municipal Health Secretaries (Conasems), the Council of Municipal Health Secretaries of Rio Grande do Norte, and the State Department of Public Health.
