Barriers and Facilitators in The Data Collection Process By Health Services: An Experience Report of The Fortaleceras Project

Abstract

For the implementation of lines of care within the Health Care Network, it is necessary to use strategies for collecting, interpreting and monitoring data produced by services at all levels of care. Carrying out this activity demands several actions and attitudes, which have barriers to be overcome and facilitators to be explored in their process. This is a descriptive study, of the experience report type, on the barriers and facilitators of the data collection process of the FortaleceRAS Project indicators, in a municipality in the 7th health region of the state of Rio Grande do Norte (RN). Four barriers and three facilitators were identified, but despite the identified barriers, it is understood that the mobilization of managers, health workers and users of the Unified Health System is of fundamental importance, aiming at improving the proposed flows for network operation.
