Methodology of problematization: Application of Maguerez's Arc in health services

Abstract

Introduction: The FortaleceRAS Project aims to strengthen the Health Care Network by supporting the implementation of the Lines of Care for chronic diseases in Rio Grande do Norte.  Objective: To report the experience of the application of the Maguerez Arch in the health services of the municipality of Parnamirim in Rio Grande do Norte in the training stage of health professionals.  Method: This is a descriptive study, type experience report. In this, the following steps were followed in Basic Health Units: observation of reality, key points, theorizing, hypothesis of solution and application in reality. Active methodologies were used at each stage by the tutors responsible for each service. Result: The application of each stage presented both potentialities and weaknesses in the services. Among the positive points we can highlight, the improvement of new knowledge, reflections on the work process and strengthening of collective practice. As well as allowing to visualize fragilities, such as lack of communication and counter-reference. Conclusion: The experiences lived during the application of the Arc were significant and relevant for the construction of effective and integrated practices by health professionals, resulting in the strengthening of the health system within the Health Care Network and contemplating the implementation of relevant actions to improve the health of the population covered by each service.
