With this, knowing that the objectives of Primary Health Care involve prevention and health promotion, carrying out educational actions as a strategy to develop health education are fundamental to guarantee the principles of PHC and the Unified Health System. Therefore, one of the pathologies that deserves to be highlighted because it is on the rise in Brazil and in the world is Overweight and Obesity, making PHC work essential with a different look for this public. OBJECTIVE: To report the action taken to implement the Care Line for Overweight and Obesity. DEVELOPMENT: In one of the workshops held through the FortaleceRAS project, the team together with the tutor designed an action alluding to White January, with an approach to mental health and a focus on self-esteem. Thus, the main objective of the action was to promote health, disseminate quality of life and reduce vulnerability and health risks, which can be caused by different factors. In November 2022, the team carried out an action entitled “Walking with Health Project”, also with the objective of promoting health, therefore, the same name was used for the event, but as a second edition. RESULT: During the action, some services were offered to assess the health situation of those present, such as: measurement of capillary blood glucose, blood pressure and anthropometric measurements; medical and nursing guidance, dance classes and administration of vaccines; We also offer a fruit table as an incentive to change eating habits. With the anthropometric measurements, the Body Mass Index (BMI) was identified, classifying this patient by BMI, according to the World Health Organization. On the day of the action, it was possible to count on the participation of a resident of the territory who is a dance and asi teacher, encouraging users to practice physical activity. This moment of action also made it possible to identify possible patients to join the Overweight and Obesity Care Line, and from that moment on, start a group aimed at them. CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE SUS AND THE POPULATION: With the development of this action, the importance of offering attractive activities was identified, covering the largest possible number of people, so that those who entered the criteria of the Care Lines worked on would not feel embarrassed, and yes, welcomed and important. The workshops developed by the tutor through the FortaleceRAS Project, made it possible to identify that the implementation of the Care Lines is a collective work and that requires the adherence and attention of all professionals, from the reception to the professional who inserts the patient in the system and thus enabling a better adherence of users to prevention and health promotion services.
