This study analyzes the aging and renewal of state public servants in Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, based on data from the Active Public Servants Census conducted by the State Secretariat of Administration (SEAD). The research adopts a descriptive and quantitative approach, using variables such as age, gender, education, admission date, and length of service. The results indicate an aging workforce, with an average age of 59.7 years and a high concentration of employees close to retirement. The study highlights the importance of workforce planning, institutional succession, and knowledge management to ensure the continuity of public services.
