VER-SUS Potiguar: Reflections on an experience

Abstract

The Experiences and Internships in the Reality of the Unified Health System Project provides opportunities for university students, from different undergraduate courses and under the supervision of health workers and teachers, to immerse themselves - during a certain period of days - in the daily work experienced in establishments of the Unified Health System. In this way, these university students get closer to the dynamics of this health system and the spaces of social control, evaluating them collectively through the problematization of experiences carried out. Therefore, this article aims to contribute to reflections on the Project Experiences and Internships in the Reality of the Unified Health System, based on the experience of the second edition carried out by the State Department of Public Health of Rio Grande do Norte, entitled Project Experiences and Internships in Reality of the Potiguar Unified Health System, in the year 2024. In general, there is a contextualization of the aforementioned Project, as well as some reflections on challenges, advances and opportunities for the Project Experiences and Internships in the Reality of the Potiguar Unified Health System . However, it is understood that the reflections presented here are systematized individually, by a person who was part of the organizing committee of the aforementioned Project. It is suggested that other actors involved be consulted and/or other studies - with different methodologies - be carried out.
