Abstract

This experience report points out important contributions, in the context of Work Management and Health Education, with regard to the fight again st the pandemic by covid-19, by the State Secretary to Public Health of Rio Grande do Norte, in period between February 2020 and August 2021, in particular the role of the Coordination in charge in its differentaction fronts, with the objective of combating covid-19. In its scope, it emphasizes the importance of work and articulation between the health areas in the process of implementing laws, drafting legal provisions, adapting policies, standards and care protocols, in order to ensure adequate working conditions and reduce risk to the health of workers during the pandemic. With regard to the assistance to the population, we highlight the decisions related to the expansion of the Workforce by hiring public employees and carrying out selective processes for temporary hiring of new employees stand out, as well as through contracts for outsourced labor, in order to guarantee the necessary support for the opening of new beds; and also the actions of Permanent Education in Health, aimed at professional training and, thus, the qualification of assistance to the population affected by
the coronavirus.
